Product Variants
Offer different sizes, colors, and other options for a single product.
Variants let you sell multiple versions of the same product without creating separate catalog entries. A t-shirt available in three sizes and two colors, for example, can be a single product with six variants.
What Are Variants?
A variant is a specific combination of option values that a customer can choose when purchasing a product. Common variant options include:
- Size -- S, M, L, XL
- Color -- Red, Blue, Black
- Material -- Cotton, Polyester
- Weight / Volume -- 250g, 500g, 1kg
Each variant can have its own price, SKU, stock quantity, and image, giving you full control over individual product configurations.

Adding Variant Options to a Product
Open the product editor
Navigate to Ecommerce > Products and click on the product you want to add variants to.
Enable variants
In the product editor, locate the Variants section and click Add Option. Enter the option name (e.g., "Size") and then list the available values (e.g., "S", "M", "L").

Add additional options (optional)
Click Add Option again to introduce more axes of variation, such as "Color". Replyn will automatically generate all possible combinations.
Review generated variants
After defining your options, Replyn displays a table of every variant combination. Verify that the list matches what you intend to sell.
Setting Prices and Stock per Variant
Each generated variant row in the table includes editable fields:
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Price | Override the base product price for this specific variant. Leave blank to inherit the product-level price. |
| SKU | Assign a unique SKU to the variant for inventory tracking. |
| Stock | Set the available quantity for this variant independently. |
| Image | Optionally upload a variant-specific image (e.g., a photo of the red version). |

If you later add or remove option values, Replyn will update the variant combinations automatically. Existing variants that still match will retain their pricing and stock data.
Deleting Variants
To remove a variant, click the delete icon next to its row in the variant table. To remove an entire option axis (e.g., remove "Color" entirely), delete the option from the options list. All variants associated with that option will be removed.
