Doctor Profiles
Create and manage doctor profiles, specializations, and availability schedules in Replyn.
Doctor profiles represent the practitioners in your clinic. Each profile stores the doctor's personal information, specializations, and availability schedule. When booking an appointment, only doctors with active profiles and configured availability will appear as options.

Adding a Doctor Profile
To add a new doctor:
- Navigate to Clinic > Doctors.
- Click Add Doctor.
- Fill in the required fields — name, email, and phone number.
- Optionally upload a profile photo.
- Click Save.

Setting Specializations
Specializations help categorize doctors and make it easier to find the right practitioner for a given treatment.
- Open the doctor's profile.
- Navigate to the Specializations section.
- Add one or more specializations (e.g., General Dentistry, Orthodontics, Dermatology).
- Save your changes.
Specializations are displayed on the doctor's profile card and can be used to filter the doctor list.

Configuring Availability Schedules
A doctor's availability schedule determines which time slots are offered during appointment booking.
- Open the doctor's profile.
- Navigate to the Availability tab.
- For each day of the week, toggle the day on or off and set the start and end times.
- Add break periods if needed (e.g., lunch break from 12:00 to 13:00).
- Save the schedule.

If a doctor has no availability configured, they will not appear as an option when booking appointments. Make sure to set up the schedule before attempting to book.
Assigning Doctors to Appointments
Doctors are assigned to appointments during the booking process. When creating or editing an appointment, select the desired doctor from the dropdown. The available time slots will automatically adjust to match that doctor's schedule.
You can also reassign a doctor on an existing appointment by opening the appointment details and selecting a different practitioner, then choosing a new time slot that fits the replacement doctor's availability.
